Looks like they made it sound a lot worse than it actually was... or have people in Iowa still not figured out how to drive in wintry conditions either? I say that because some people in Wisconsin still drive like idiots when roads are in bad shape Icing was worse north of Cedar Rapids where the temp was near freezing. Inches of mashed potato slush punctuated with icey mounds of packed snow and shin deep puddles at every crosswalk. And on a Friday night in a college town too...ultra-treacherous to drunk walking.
