I'm an amateur hobbyist, looking to increase my knowledge but not in need of a certificate or a degree. Any other suggestions for free or low cost online learning besides reading the boards here? Great resource. Start with Numerical Modeling, level 1's: Model Fundamentals How Mesoscale Models Work Effective Use of NWP in the Forecast Process Basically, any subject of interest if you're not interested specifically with forecasting, start with the level 1's (which assume prior knowledge on the topic) and move on to the 2's.
