I've decided to change my tune. I'm going to start slant-sticking my observations like you. Taunton now receives closer to 50" of snow annually based on my new measure methods I've learned. It was ripping this AM. Visibility was down to 100', I couldn't see my neighbors house.

That band was amazing up here.  We easily had 1/2 mile visibility large flakes for a good hour +.  We got 2.5" total for the day.  BTW, not sure how BDL obs never got below 1 mile

Not sure if they were in the "good stuff".

Hey Kevin, how much did you get from that band this afternoon?  I'm tied up and can't get outside but it looks like 1-1.5" here.

lol yea I was referring to your season total. Impressive for the Cape on 1/10

Yeah probably about 60-65% of seasonal total (FMH is probably in the low 30s for avg snow) by eary/mid January.

That is solid since the Cape snow season is usually more skewed toward 2nd half of January and February.

Shades now drawn, 34F. At least some snow from the morning still around.

Shades still wide open here. Looks real nice out there. Got about 2" today. Spent the day on the lake ice fishing/snowmobiling, mid winter out there. Shades close when I go to bed tonight.
