birdsofprey02
Drove from Bel Air to Hanover today and it was dry until I got just south of Balt city... (though it probably has picked up north and east too now). Roads seemed fine and heavily salted everywhere. In Hanover, I got out of car and surprisingly almost slipped on the pavement. The unsalted parking lot was very slippery. The freezing rain was picking up in intensity as well. Temp seemed to be right under 32.
cigrgd
32 degrees. We had a 15-minute period of moderate sleet around 5:30 AM and now we have light freezing rain. Sidewalks are slippery.

H2O
Little bit o ice on the windshield but roads just wet. One icy spot in the parking lot at work almost made me do my best Tonya Harding. Damn you Polar Vortex Part 1!!!
das
29.4F in Clarksburg. SN/IP mix started around 5am. Came down pretty good for a while. Picked up a noisy 0.1", enough to whiten everything, including the roads. IP/ZR mix now, it's pretty slick out there. Schools were smart to delay opening by two hours. wxdude64
Huge over-performer on precip here. Luckily we were right at 31.9-32.4 all night and ice is only in trees and elevated, and not that much. 0.33 in gauge when I checked at 7 am, still raining. A heavy band of rain moved thru 5-6 am with temp at 32.2...... Now 32.4/31.
