Snowstorms
Got 2 inches In like the past hour. That brings my day total to 3" today plus the inch yesterday. Its coming down heavily. Thermometer has a reading of -1.0C.
harrisale
Still full snow here. Front yard thermometer still holding at 29F. Surface temps safely below zero, just need to keep that pesky warm layer just off the deck out of here.
Chicago WX
Just got back assisting two people with getting their car stuck out of the snow. One in the parking lot and one who was stuck in a ditch down the road. That one required a tow truck. As we were digging them out we heard sirens in the distance. I wish people would take these travel restrictions seriously. In the meantime winds have really picked up. I would easily say 9 inches now but becoming more difficult to pick up measurements. Car stuck right now in the middle of my lot. They have no chance...especially with trying to use a broom as a shovel. At 3", 2" excluding the fgen stuff. So my 1-2" call has already busted. Nice. Better than all liquid for sure. Depends on ones backyard. For my own this looks to put GHD to shame. Yep. I'll take the past five days over that disaster. Ottawa Blizzard
Unysis pressure falls want to ride the low over KBUF. sfc_con_3pres-1.gif Given it was originally forecast to track right over Toronto, I'm guessing this is good news for us? blizzardof96
Given it was originally forecast to track right over Toronto, I'm guessing this is good news for us? Yep. Eventual track probably won't end up that far south but low could end up passing through niagara instead of toronto on north. Need to wait and see. snowstormcanuck
Given it was originally forecast to track right over Toronto, I'm guessing this is good news for us? Those maps aren't perfect. It's going to change to rain. Don't set yourself up for disappointment.
Northern_IN_Wx
Very impressive storm. Will end up near 10 inches...a little under the foot I was expecting.
Chargers09
12+ should be a lock Definitely. I think the best snows will end up north of a line from ann arbor through mt clemens. 16 inches should be a lock for anyone north of 59, too.
*IndyMeso*
Car stuck right now in the middle of my lot. They have no chance...especially with trying to use a broom as a shovel. Funny, the guys here were using the same thing. The snow won.
