Chicago WX
Dry slot on the doorstep of LAF. No double digit totals with this one. Still good, as we can put another 6"+ storm in the ledger. Or it'll just pretty much fill in, and prove me to be a dumb a** once again during this storm.
Blizzard23
I measured 7.2" here at Tri Lakes, IN which is 7 miles north of Columbia City, IN. 2.4" has accumulated in the past 90 minutes!

Powerball
15Z SREF plumes for SEMI: DTW: 12.2" (8-16") JXN: 15.5" (10-20") TTF: ~12" (6-15") MTC: 11.6" (7-15") FNT: 13.5" (8-18") Let er rip! It would be miraculous if Detroit gets a foot (and catches up to Flint at that), given that our struggle snow thus far has just not gotten us to 2". The snow in fact has been so light with tiny flakes that sleet was mixing in at times (note the current location of the freezing line, which is black). ukrocks
We've dropped from 56 degrees to 43 degrees in a matter of 20 minutes due to onset of the rain. I think if you're in Indiana and you haven't changed over to rain, then you're safe.

Yeah, so far nothing big. Unless we get some serious comma-head banding going on right along the rivers we're not getting anything close to what is going to fall just 50-60 miles NW of us. The snow in fact has been so light with tiny flakes that sleet was mixing in at times (note the current location of the freezing line, which is black). We are probably over 2" here, but not by much, and the snow is QUICKLY picking up in intensity. We are right on schedule as far as Im concerned. It is starting to look better outside. I guess it just feels weird to see places already working on a foot so close and hardly having anything close to it yet just makes it seem like things are going worse than they are.
