Chitown Storm
Will be interesting the see if the snows near SPI/ILX can make it here or if they miss to the east Based on radar trends, I think it has a decent chance to sneak up this way. Major precip being pushed NNE from Central IL.

RogueWaves
Where's our guy from Berrien County, MI? Between the storm and lake effect, that area looks to get obliterated. Not sure if you meant me or not? I work there but get to ride this out at home (3) counties inland. You are right though. Looking like Snow Emergency type of event for Berrien and a few other SWMI and NWIN counties as the LES will kick in for sure as this winds up in Canada. Here at home, I was at 5" and counting about 10:30. Hoping the heavy stuff has its eyes on me for later today. Tonight should be fun as the winds pick up too. Good Luck to all! Gilbertfly
Can now confirm that CBS report earlier that ORD was up to 6.5" as of 6AM. making up for that last storm that screwed peeps out of getting their $$ rebates for jewelry lol I'm done measuring here...drifts are out of control now...winds are constant and have been getting gustier and gustier...there is even a 2 foot drift on my sidewalk up to my house where I had shoveled about an hour ago... While I would have agreed with LOT's assessment of the snow being too wet to really be blown around a couple hours ago...I have to disagree now...really surprised actually

Round two just started about ten minutes ago. i would say i'm up to about 8.5" now with snowfall increasing in intensity the last few minutes did have a bit of a lull here earlier this morning but it never really stopped snowing
