This is when the mapgirl and sparky crew will clean up. That light/mod stuff dropping down over northern MD will give them another quick few inches. By 7:00 AM they'll be reporting 8 inches or more.

 

Pretty soon Mapgirl will realize that Parkton is a money spot for snow (it is), and stop being aw shucks about every event..."wow...I only expected a dusting...I can't believe I have 9.5"!"........

I know no one gives a sh*t but Boston is getting 30:1 ratios, we need that here.

 

Eh, who cares. Jet contrails drop snow on them. We just had our first real region wide event in over 1,000 days. Not jeally about anyone tonight. DCA better score another .1 though. Looks like another 1-2 hours of bands if they haven't hit it yet. This has been a great overperforming storm for all.

It wasn't overperforming if you had just looked at the Euro 3 days ago and then not looked at anything else after that.  ;)

I could never have dreamed of more than 4" and i will probably end up with over 7" if radar is any indication. Best storm by far since Jan 26 2011.

eh they got fringed a bit. suckers.

 

it's a shame the winds are picking up. the trees will lose lots of their snow before morning probably. cold wind.. the worst thing ever.
