Avdave
Not bad here and still snowing. About 4.25-4.5" here now. 30*, was kind of neat to see the difference in snow accumulation from DCA back to da burg here.

DCAlexandria
Dca and CC are anomalies. Ones an airport. One has a underground city heating the surface.
snow.
Hi-Res nam has a period of radar enchancement over I-95 around 1-2am....I dont think there is going to be some massive pivot for everyone, but there is going to be some radar enhancement from the coastal...obv the best place for good banding will be east of I95, but wouldnt surprise me to see a band set up west of the beltway sometime in the next 2-3 hours
jnis
I think the wind will rip it off pretty easily in this one. You're probably right.

mdhokie
3.375" in severn with moderate snow. NWS better bump our WWA up from 1-3. I think we keep going for another 4hrs.
snow.
Can we make 5"? in couple hours, 0.05 will probably get you close to an inch...im hoping we can keep some light snow around for 3-4 hours
attml
3 Inches in Severna Park. 32.3 degrees. Snow is falling at about an inch per hour. Streets are a mess!! Woohoo!
OleFalls
If this freezes on the trees then we get 40+ MPH gusts, my neighbors and I will need to start the generators...
jacindc
The coating on the trees and bushes is gorgeous, but not really making a lot of progress in terms of accumulation (see that front walk?). Maybe I'm far enough east to catch a break later tonight.
GATECH
Anyone check out the Wakefield radar, blowed up last 20 minutes. Just need a bit more northerly component. Radar down there def looks more n/s oriented vice the sw/ne orientation up here. Easier to look for back building and the "pivot" down there and extrapolate up here in about 2 hours. Avdave
Can we make 5"? For sure bro. I think we do. For not being to invested in this system, Im very happy with the outcome. Maybe I need to less model watching and all that jazz and let ma nature do her thing. Im quite satisfied with our snow here. Looks awesome outside

RevWarReenactor
Got out of DC in the nick of time it seems. Started as a light mix and transitioned to snow, no acccu in Dc when I left at 5pm. As I went north began to accumulate pretty quickly mostly on grass but around Baltimore on the streets. Lots of cars in ditches on 95. People just can't handle it. Up in DE we got 2.5 so far.
