SabreAce33
Moderate to heavy snow accumulating on all surfaces on Eastern Shore of MD (Queen Anne's County, Centreville). Still 40 and rain here in SBY unfortunately.
astarck
Tapered off in South Arlington. Not much more has accumulated in the last 30-60 minutes. A couple miles from DCA and I'm stuck at 1".
megisemo
I think my wwa just got cut from 1-3 to "up to 1 inch"? What gives?

CAPE
Snowing heavily, 32. I imagine it will look much different in a few hours with the temps dropping and wind picking up.
PhineasC
Nearing 4 inches. 29 degrees with nice small flakes. I want to beat the 6 inches I received in early December.

WEATHER53
Lot of fun with this one. It was one of the 10-20% that blossums right over us. Going to wait two more hours before clearing everything off as accumulaions will be an arctic tundra hardpckk by sunrise tomorrow.

BTRWx
Road just sanded for only an inch? Lol. Grass and cars covered. Temp at 32 prevents flash freezes
Kay
Just took a walk - really beautiful out there. Came back plastered with snow :-) 2.75 so far, 29 degrees. Someone plowed and the street is sliiiick. Lousy street pic and a neighbor's statue:

stormtracker
I truly feel bad for LWX. They've had a wretched streak of snow forecasts and it's really not all their fault. I'm very loathe to criticize those guys...i think they do excellent work...but this was not their finest hour. It's like they were asleep or just didn't care. RIC_WX
Wonder how cold we can get tomorrow night with arctic air, snow cover, and light winds? 0F within reach for the far out burbs?
bigjohndc
1.7 on car and 2.5 on the grass, so we will call it 2.2. Not scientific, but better than trying to measure on a hot plate behind a jet engine like at DCA. Temps are still marginal and some of the snow is slushy on sidewalks. Got Haggis?
Received an alert that LWX bumped me up to 3-5 around 7:43pm. Just received another alert that downgraded it to 2-4" at 8:06pm. Odd.
