TowsonWeather
Oh no you won't mister. I named this the Justin Berk storm yesterday afternoon after I felt he stood alone in calling for it to vastly overperform. Everyone mocked him for approx the next 12 hours... until he was right. Except he does this with every storm...you just forget all the ones he weenied out on and never panned out.
WxUSAF
I truly feel bad for LWX. They've had a wretched streak of snow forecasts and it's really not all their fault.

This definitely was one tough storm to forecast specifically for the lower mid-atlantic.

Amped
Looking at trafficland cams the air force memorial does appear to have quite a bit more than DCA. Guess it's a screw zone. Good for Airline though.
ThePhotoGuy
Now just passed 2 inches. That was my goal. I call this storm a win!
caviman2201
I'm amazed... by 8p almost everyone north of 50 and west of 95 has more than they expected for the entire storm (except of course NE MD)... so awesome. I think I'm going to just go outside and stand in it for a while...
mdhokie
They lowered totals to 1 inch for the WWA for Anne Arundel and just changed it to 1-3. lol Its like they are basing the AACo forecast off of southern AACo. Up north we already have 2+", and I would expect it to snow here longer than out west.
Bob Chill
I just remeasured. I'm 2.75". Wet and sticky stuff. A couple degrees colder and I might have had 3 - 3.5. Oh well, still happy.

North Balti Zen
Three inches, so congrats to lwx for bumping me up to 3-5 as it is unfolding... BTRWx
At least DCA obs may qualify for breaking the snow drought, though idk how much is on the ground. http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KDCA/2014/1/2/DailyHistory.html?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

They base it a lot because of the bay (which I can't blame them since it often takes longer for changeover and accumulation than out west).
