Ian
I'm still 37. I do way better than downtown in pure snow events but often don't in these type. Still my precip should last a little longer. Just getting rain. My temps are falling slower than forecast by the afternoon runs of the NAM or GFS. So much for the idea that being cooler to start than the model means anything unless you live in Leesburg. Yeah, that was sort of my guess at the time though temps are a little more stubborn so far than expected. I must be right around 33/32 here though. Ltrain
33 with moderate snow. Deck is starting to get covered! Thats a win for me.
Rhode Islander in Balto
In the span of about 15 minutes, my street went from wet to completely white and snow covered. Temp down to 30.2, with best rates of the day falling. The sky is very bright.
mattie g
To pump you guys up, rain has really over performed down here. Model data was 1/10th of an inch, we are over .25 and still pouring. (with occasional pings of sleet) Thank you for your sacrifice.
BTRWx
Mostly snow here now, but we're all holding our breaths south of the District.
feloniousq
Took an hour to get the 8 miles from Reston to Ashburn. Might be a mini-commutageddon at least on the toll road corridor.

ravensrule
I'm walking up to Mari Luna's now so I'll let you know how it looks out there! Sounds like fun enjoy, let me know how it is. I think we will actually hit 5" which would be sweet (sorry DC guys ).
Roger Ramjet
That death band had the biggest snowflakes I can remember - up to half dollar size. Received 3/4 inch in less than half hour.

WxUSAF
Windshield was covered between the time I stopped and when I got out of the car at the gym. Snowing mighty hard in Columbia right now Yeah it really is. Might be getting close to 1"/hr even with the poor ratios. But temps down to 32.5, so ratios should be normalizing soon.
