atownwxwatcher
Stuck the ruler upside down at first(had mouth surgery and in pain so it happens) but you can see from going from that end it goes from 12 to 8 indicating 4 inches.. Measured in the same area as last time which is protected from the wind and you can see when turned around measured right around 4 inches.... Now i am located in center city..so perhaps that makes a difference..
blizzardlover
Nice backbuilding! Another batch of strong echoes should make its way through the area in the next few hours, and with super cold temperatures, wouldn't be surprised if this added another inch or two to the already-impressive totals in the region. Gravity Wave
Looks like another hour to 90 minutes of steady snow, followed by some snow showers. Could add an inch to the 6 I have. Overall this storm performed as expected, although the snow growth was pretty horrendous and the heavier banding never made it as far NW as the high res models predicted. Snow ended about 15 mins ago....now just blowing snow. Tough to measure, but I will go with 6.5" for a final total. It felt wonderful to walk in relatively deep snow after it has been absent for a couple seasons. And....we beat last year's total.
