HoarfrostHubb
Well, it is rather dull here in the interior. But that was expected. Visibility is fine. Snow is very light. Little blowing The storm isn't even really here yet though. Overrunning is fine
SouthCoastMA
Snowing moderately here in Fall River, a nice band is pushing up from the South Coast.
40/70 Benchmark
Just in case anyone else with an RPM fetish wants a look... Nicely showing the areas outlined by Ray for jackpot totals. I really like that map, man. Someone within that circle of win will get nearly 2'.
NorEastermass128
Great call closing schools in eastern MA. People spinning out on the main roads here and fire engine and ambulances flying by every 5 minutes it seems.
moneypitmike
WTH? boring?, should be windy tonight I guess thats what you are looking for. Intensity's waned, snowgrowth is sh*tty. Cool temp is good to see--but one observes that from a thermometer, not looking out the window. We'll wind up with 6-8" in spite of that, but generally just through a duration of light-to-moderate snow.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Looks like a nice band pushing through central and east Rhode Island and up through Plymouth and Bristol counties. Looks like a few more off shore want to try to move. A lot of place in southeast ma may be looking at 2-4, 3-5 before the real deal even comes in. I think that would easily make a foot attainable
Baroclinic Zone
In thinking tan could have 2-4 before the main event really even gets going Possible. Nice band coming.
ROOSTA
Was just out and I've never seen so many plows before this early in the game. The treatment on the roads are just wasted, mix and congeals into a mess. Icy as a mofo too. 3-5" during daylight and crank overnight 8-10" topped off by 1-3" early tomorrow. Sure is pretty even this early with blowing and driftin already. Going to get into the Danger Will Robinson stage tonight.

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
If BOS gets accum snow while the system hasnt gathered itself yet...u gotta expect big number in the end.
BostonWX
I really like that map, man. Someone within that circle of win will get nearly 2'. Will be interesting to see just how much they get. Interesting gradient even between even between here 7 miles from downtown BOS and BOS or Brookline. The CF is just to my NW right now. I'm at 26 and with 19 at MQE and just over the Boston city line. That should focus some good banding over the next several hours before the bulk shifts to my SE.
ORH_wxman
If BOS gets accum snow while the system hasnt gathered itself yet...u gotta expect big number in the end. Its really efficient right now...its amazing how well its coming down here at Colpley Square despite just 15dbz on radar.

TauntonBlizzard2013
Possible. Nice band coming. 10am BOX_loop.gif Yup looks good. Looks like there might be some more after that as well. I am pleasantly surprised, wasn't really expecting anything until the main course
Baroclinic Zone
Yup looks good. Looks like there might be some more after that as well. TauntonBlizzard2013
Tough to predict mesoscale bands like these that are literally a few miles wide. Yeah could very well not pan out. But I think there is some promise that we may never really "lull" perhaps.

PWMan
4.1F, very light snow with maybe an inch so far. We've had a couple interludes of bigger flakes (some ocean enhancement?).
Colonel Badger
Think WMUR's forecast of 6-10 may bust low here. Coming down good and I would eyeball 3" already. According them we would only have around 4" for the day before tonight's snow.
butterfish55
Wish I was back in Acushnet right now, they look like they are getting cranked I'm right on the water in Swansea (across from the cooling towers) and it is indeed ripping. ORH_wxman
How are the flakes there? They are small, but there's dendrite in there. You could see them landing on your coat. Small but quite densely spaced.
