Damage In Tolland
Why is everyone confused at that map? I could name you 5 storms easy for each one of those lines. This storm includes both the Green line (definitely want to be east of it) and the Red line as well for OES and just to be close to the coast. I bet Will could name 100 Storms that fall under each line! What's so confusing? 12/9/05 would be a bit of the purple (intensifying but moving out comma head). Out to Sea storms that barely hit us would be the Orange line that you'd want to be of course South of.
Sey-Mour Snow
I'm excited for tonight. do we really know what to expect with snow bands from a strengthening coastal to our south and east with surface temps between zero and 15 degrees and dropping? Should be an amazing sight. I think many will be pleasantly surprised with minimal qpf and decent radar returns..

Clinch Leatherwood
Elaborate? It's a real nice hit. If you're in Smithfield I think you rock pretty well earlier tonight. 12z GFS holds serve / maybe slightly better for eastern sections Definitely better in eastern areas. The only surprise is going to be who gets into the uber banding. GFS handled this entire event pretty well...props.

ORH_wxman
GFS cuts way back from 1" for me to 0.75" or so. You have to keep in mind that on the 12z runs, they are not going to show any snow you accumulated prior to 12z.

Clinch Leatherwood
RGEM has been hitting those bands that someone else pointed out with AWIPS earlier....for a few runs. Check out the NNE to SSW streaks as you edged through this tonight from the GOM into MA. http://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmdn/pcpn_type/pcpn_type_gem_reg.html
Ryan
The GFS has been the most consistent on this event, IMO... thinking 8-12" for the Merrimack Valley but with already ~3", wouldn't be surprised if we see more than 12".
TheSnowman
You have to keep in mind that on the 12z runs, they are not going to show any snow you accumulated prior to 12z. Well Will I only had 0.5" of snow at 12z. So I sure hope that 1/4 of the total for the storm isn't 0.5" lol.
TauntonBlizzard2013
If the rgem is correct. Everyone from central ct on east is going to get some really good snows. Really try's to hang on to some good stuff for a while in southeast ma down to the cape
