I keep saying that because it is true. If a four year old can do it, then so can you. You previous post I bolded what you are saying now that you didn't say.

I'm sorry about the post where I said none of the stations, I meant to say some.   That was a mistype on my part.  I was up at 6 this morning for an endoscopy, and I think my brain is still recovering from the Anastasia. I knew some places had indeed reached the teens on the northside, they had to considering GSP was down around ten.  I understand now why you thought I hadn't checked.  Again, my apologies.  Thanks for pointing it out.

Baby steps. It's going in the right direction.

Yep.  Only 17 more runs of the GFS before 0z Wednesday.  Plenty of time for those baby steps to get closer or farther away.  Nobody should expect this run to verify verbatim...Don't forget how the last system took about a 50-100 mile jog to the south with about 24 hours to go if I remember correctly.

It seriously boggles my mind how folks Charlotte/GSO east are not jumping for joy at these trends. Snow is never a lock, this is what makes the chase so thrilling.

I'm jumping!  Right now it looks like Raleigh is in a better spot than GSO or CLT.  However, the trends are good.  I don't think we will lose this one to the north for a change!  Plus, this is actually a storm where we could legitimately have high snow ratios and not have to miss one flake due to melting!  I'm with you Burger!

  Now burger.....you know it never snows between the portals  :P

It has my attention and I can say I'm cautiously optimistic especially for the coastal peeps. Similar track/evolution being shown compared to Feb '10, but the difference for me is that during that feb I knew it was going to snow, it was just a matter of how much. With this system.....I still have my reservations  :P

Hell, I'm jumping for joy and I live right near GSO (the airport).  The Canadian is amazing, the GFS looked better, the GEFS seem to be getting better, the EPS are great, and the Euro operational isn't that far off and showed a big hit just a couple runs ago.

Of course, I am known for overoptimism. :)

The trends maybe good but its but also the fact of its 6 days out. Easy come easy go considering the ups and downs this year.

people further inland than say Raleigh east seem a little bit more bias against this event. Hopefully when it starts pounding their backyard they'll start loving the trends/runs.
