WidreMann
I can't wait for spring. I'm tired of dry cold and disappointment. It's just a nuisance at this point.
metalicwx366
^Can't agree more Widre. Is katodog some kind of psychic or does he just guess dates for winter storms and get them right? http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/42121-big-snowstorm-maybe-blizzard/#entry2629294 http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/42333-another-storm-coming-maybe-2/#entry2670567

jburns
Well of course. You've been through every about everything. What was your favorite winter? 77 in the VA mountains was good. Several 60s winters in Northern New Jersey. Boone mid 60s had a good one or two.

timnc910
I feel a little excited for the next couple weeks for the storm. Its good not to be the bullseye this far out but so close.. so we could be in for a suprise instead of a let down... heck I don't care if its half an inch or and inch id be happy compared to the last couple years.... there's no merit behind my thoughts as I am no met or haven't studied meterology butI have learned a lot from you guys to understand the physics and what it takes for these events to occur other than what you see and hear from local mets on t.v. mother nature is a beautiful thing. Cold Rain
Nope...Gas furnace. Gotcha. I have a heat pump and it's old and goes out a lot. Usually a capacitor...or it throws a breaker. Anyway, sorry man. I hope you're able to get it fixed soon.

Agreed, it's very close to something better, as modeled we would have storms tracking to our west, but would be good for NE. They have to be salivating, BOS will be shattering records this winter of its right.
