I don't understand some of you guys. How can this pitiful 21st event possibly be better than anything you have seen the last 2 years? What about last February with the convective snow event?

It won't be, don't worry.

At least it would be something. But now it looks like crap today. We can't even get a little storm on the models within 48 hours to verify now. This sucks.

I am just frustrated, gang. This acts really getting old with winter. I have said all I can about how much it has sucked. I think I will just keep quiet until I actually get some snow. Nothing else to say about it.

So your becoming a mute then, because it ain't snowing here again, and I am not talking about the dusting we may get tomorrow, I am talking 3"+.  Going to post some RDU futility numbers later today, it's amazingly bad, all time lows across the board going back 120 years.  For whatever reason our snow climate is like that of Atlanta's, actually probably worse than Atlanta's.

Just learn to accept it, it doesn't snow here, only in NoVA and Boston, you will be happier like me.

Ok, who is following every post in the MA forum like I am? Glad to see someone get a good storm. Which it was 200 miles south though!

I think that's what makes our situation so bad. If this was a very week system that was going to provide only our area an inch or so we would probably be more up beat. It's hard to see somebody very near get a significant snow when your left with scraps. I'm trying to stay positive in that if we get lucky and get that inch of snow it would still be a nice winter scene on Wednesday morning.

I always follow the MA pretty close. We are headed to the sweet spot Friday am. I called my mother in law when the NAM ran this am. They look to get hammered. Wish we were going sooner.

Yeah and the way the some of them are acting you would guess it never snows. But yet some complaining while most of them around that area is doing well so far for the season.

:axe:

Has Waycross been sucking wind too?  You guys have had more snow than RDU, not even close.  I know you got a few inches from this dry slot nightmare we had in 2011, just one of the many bone jobs...

Kind of funny, the amounts shown over the Triangle will probably be the amounts we end up with from Tuesdays system. Maybe the trace amounts to the NE will be 1". But his time we'll (at least I will) be happy to get it. How times have changed.

I think you're all messed up in the head. We're 36 hours from the freaking winter storm and you want to bail out. Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer a potential event. It's a quest. It's a quest for snow. You're gonna have snow, and I'm gonna gave snow... We're all gonna have so much freaking snow we're gonna need bulldozers to remove the feet of snow from our driveways! You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah'while you're stuck indoors with the snow piled up to your second story window! I must be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see snow. Praise Old Man Winter! Holy ****!
