Great ride. We were there last spring. Want to go on Disney cruise in march or april

Agree. Fun times... even more fun when get express passes and able to by pass the line.

Yeah, rnr is my favorite ride at Disney! 0-60 in 3 seconds , then into the dark and loops, awesome! And " walk this way" playing the whole time!

Yeah it will lay you back in the seat with the quick acceleration then total darkness hits and so does the corkscrews and loops.

The Euro must look like butt crack too with all of the deafening silence around.

Ones perspective is the question.

Don't look too bad... could be worse. But keeps the EC troughniess through 240. If anything atleast a clipper parade through then.

From hour 72 through 240 it looks like the 0c 850 thermal line stays below the NC,VA border.

cold and dry is the word yo! Looks like we will be lucky. Jb said if you live in the east and you dont get snow with this pattern you will be lucky.

Haha! Well, at the very least, the Euro is quite a bit different from the GFS in the D8 - D10 time frame. It keeps the western ridge longer and keeps us cold.

Yep. By the way, thanks for posting updates on the clippers. Hopefully, we can get some legit light snow out of one of them.

To be fair do you even look at models? This statement is false and biased. For folks in the deep south yeah it might not look superb for a blockbuster foot + snow. But to summarize what other folks have summarized is crazy. Maybe you should read more. Cause honestly.... it still looks cold and the snow chances are the same 50/50. FYI no model is going to be 100% right... but there is potential for 2 light snow/flurry events ahead. One in the morning and one potentially about 90 hours out. Personally I hope you score on both flurry events that away maybe it will shut you up for a while.

Agree. Really thats worth repeating.

"Actually I don't see anything different today than yesterday. The cold is still coming and the snowstorms the GFS was showing were 300+ hours out so of course that was going to change."

I am posting in here because it is the banter thread. I am posting about what others have said with the model runs. I was commenting on the last week of the month. It did look very exciting, but now that potential seems to be going away. I was just saying we should have known better to trust the models that far out. Just venting about it.

and crushes the s/w coming out of the southwest. I think even if we get a -nao, without a southern stream we will have the same problem as last year. Unless we get a -pna to shoot enegry out of the southwest.

It is a little concerning when everything looks rock solid for the long range for several days in a row then all the sudden the GFS starts throwing in very crappy runs. I ignored it at first but now it is still doing it. The Euro hasn't fell for it yet though. Still the indices don't look that great either after next week. Hopefully just a hiccup and all falls back in place for continued cold and snow chances.

Btw, has anyone seen the crazy uncle for 12z yet to see which way it goes?

This is exactly what I was talking about. Not so sure why it is so bad to just comment on it in the banter thread. I know it is my fault for falling for it, but I am tired of winter without snow. That't the only thing winter is good for to me. I just hate hearing about how the players on the field look good, then the models show all this potential down the road, but it never materializes.

Maybe I'll get a little snow with the clippers coming through next week.

Told you not to fall for it. And you thought I was only saying that because I stay in Waycross.

I see I picked a good morning to work outside. Temp was 24 degrees when I started at 8:15 and I just got in with a temp of 39 :)

Glad I miss the fun of the 12ZGFS :)

Yea me too! Boat is shined up...clothes packed..headed to Florida in the morning. Fishing the Bass master Southern Open on lake Toho. Maybe when I get back there will be something to track.

Y'all stay warm!

I can't help it. I'm just like Charlie Brown.

Brick, Lucy is horrible! However, I feel we should just enjoy the wx as it is the only wx we get! Where have I heard that before? It sounds vaguely familiar. I do like the line since I live by it.

GA is on the east coast...??

I agree. At least I think that is the Atlantic Ocean 15 miles from me lol. Maybe I need to get me some ice cream and make a beach run today to make sure it is still there. ;) In all fairness, I'm sure you'd agree he maybe meant NE coast since JB concentrates much more of his energy up that way.
