calculus1
I lol'd when you called Buckeye "Moderator", even thought she is. That was funny. Sorry about the back problems. I have that too and it's no fun. I could still dominate Brick on the court, though. I would be interested in that match-up. Though, I'm pretty sure that Brick could beat even the entire Tarheels team right now, 1 versus 5. It doesn't take much, apparently. Fact: Bears eat beets... bears, beets, battlestar galactica... therefore black bears are best = FACT Ahh...the good ol' days of The Office. I miss that show. calculus1
I can kind of see BillT's point that he did not call out anyone in particular, but I'd rather we just end that discussion and move on to bigger and better things. And, for the record, I respect and value both GaWx's and Buckeye's contributions to this weatherboard. Thank you both for all you do in statistical analysis and moderation, among other things. Now, for some good ol' fashioned BBT:

GaWx
Regarding JB, does anyone disagree with my feeling that his tweets are clearly biased toward higher energy prices? When was the last time he tweeted that energy prices (as far as weather is concerned) shouldn't be as high as they are? Has anyone seen one tweet like that? Now since he has energy clients, it is understandable that he touts for higher prices. Also, he does make good points about prices sometimes. However, I feel it is important for the reader's own good that this bias be recognized as one is reading his tweets and forecasts. Look, JB is a very knowledgeable forecaster. He approaches the longer range from a fairly unique perspective (largely using teleconnections), which makes him worth following for many. I even paid for Accuweather Pro for several years mainly because of him. He's intelligent and very enjoyable to follow due to his great passion for weather. He's made some very good calls, including this winter though he also has had a good number of awful calls. Maybe I was a bit too harsh with my blind squirrel reference. However, he is clearly biased toward cold and snow. So, when it actually is cold and snowy, I tend to get that blind squirrel feeling about his calls. He seemed very biased in the early 2000's. Subsequently, I had thought he was getting less biased around 2005 or so because he started to mix things up more. However, I think he has backtracked. By the way, I feel he's not just biased toward cold and now. I think he's biased toward extremes in general...heat, hurricanes, other storms, cold, and wintry precip. Cold Rain
LOL, I feel confident I can thank CR for most everything, and blame him for most everything, but unlike Joe he won't put himself out hanging like a pinata. Whap him with a stick, and he just spins around and smiles that devil smile. Please Someone...make him stop....WILL IT BE WARM??? Damn you CR, It blowed up.....it blowed up good!! Haha! It will not be warm today. Ok... so a D&D road trip and a one on one smack down Bball tourney. We need an event coordinator BEVO BEVO BEVO!!!! In the short time you have been here 90% of your posts have been nothing short of causing trouble over things you obviously have no clue about. READING MORE AND POSTING LESS is great advice if you don't like being called out on what you are saying. OBVIOUSLY you do not have to take this advice, but I did give you fair warning about poking hornets

Met1985
Thought I would share this with yall for I need as many prayers as possible. It looks like I will be entering one of the hardest times of my life up to know with the news that my mother has a large mass on her uterus connecting to here rectum. They do not know if it is cancer or not but she is a breast cancer survivor. This is very difficult thinking that there is a real possibility that I will lose my mother and that my kids will not grow up the Mammow. Trying to keep a positive attitude and just do lots of praying. Thank you all for the kind words ahead of time and God bless you all!
