superjames1992
It will be hilarious if the models start to fall in line somewhat with the 18z GFS and we can make the claim that the 12z CRAS led the way with this one. (sort of)
LithiaWx
Calm before the 21z SREF and 0z storm, no whammies. What time do we get sref and nam.?
calculus1
Lol, just posted in the storm thread, reread it and thought to myself "what a sh&%#$ post" and promptly deleted it. Moderating myself ftw! Nice, Amos!! Things are getting totally out of control in the storm thread. For example: This is just too damn much information! Heartily agree, burns. I know it might be wrong but i'm in love with Stacy's mom. Stacy's mom has got it going on! We must not even need the dancing version of the little blue thingie in your avatar in order to get a "possible" big dog snowstorm. You know it's going down when Don S. stops in. Agreed. Don S is the man!
WeatherNC
Indeed. Those are not frost advisories in case some were wondering.
superjames1992
What time do we get sref and nam.? The NAM should start rolling any minute. I'm not sure about the SREFs. Of course, the NAM takes forever for each panel to come out. EDIT: The SREFs are coming out now... And Burger said... Dare I say it?... but the SREF looks like the 18z GFS. rduwx
It will be hilarious if the models start to fall in line somewhat with the 18z GFS and we can make the claim that the 12z CRAS led the way with this one. (sort of) If all the models fell in line with the 18z gfs I would still have 12/2000 in the back of my mind. EDIT - I would also be scared that Jim Cantore would show up and ruin it! JoshM
Oh dear, SREF is going to be our friend too , if the Euro comes on board tonight this place will go into full blown pandemonium. I need to find my helmet, it's going to rough around here.
metalicwx366
Indeed. watches.JPG . We probably will get our winter storm watches or ice storm watches in the morning depending on what the overnight guidance shows.

superjames1992
Me, too. I want to be invited to this party. I'll take 5" of snow and call it a day. SREF gives us a 30-50% chance of a foot of snow. Aim higher. I'll be very, very happy with 5" of snow with temperatures in the teens, though. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a storm like that. This is going to be big, 2010 may look like a stocking stuffer when all is said and done, major impact event! And I thought I was going to be screwed way out here west. This is the time when the weenie's persistence pays off! Never back down when the chips are down!

I remember someone saying the other day (when this all started with that 12z Euro teaser) that if the separation was right we'd be measuring snow in feet not inches
