HKY18
I wasn't trying to sucker in or make anyone feel guilty.... Hence all the silly smileys. Just thought it was funny how everyone wanted it more west, west, west so I commented on it. I have no ill will towards anyone on here, nor will I. Here's hoping for a bit of snow and not too much ice for everyone! I hope someone in the deep south gets an historic storm! That would be great

mackerel_sky
It'll be fun to see the euro run tonight. The meltdown after last nights GFS or Euro whichever or both was pretty hysterical! I want snow as bad as everyone else, but have low expectations for this one. People talk all the time about not worrying about every run and panicking, but it still goes on alot and is funny as hello

But, if I have to settle and that isn't on the table when verification comes, I'd like that, too.

That was the big dog I mentioned in the storm thread. 3.0" precip. How much snow is that on Allan's map? I don't remember the scale. metalicwx366
I hate being right on the dividing line between rain or snow. NWS increased snow chances. TWC says 33 and rain which is basically what the GFS is showing.
CAD_Wedge_NC
HPC is showing a greater than 30% chance of more than 4 inches of snow through this area and the NWS doesn't even mention flurries? Just "mostly cloudy" skies. Strange...

MarkSC
I haven't seen mention of temps on the Euro. All snow for CHS? GFS is bringing the rain too close for comfort.
shaggy
Nows when I usually go into my little panic mode over the NW trends. Too much NW trend screws me here in east central NC and its always a concern.

Maybe it will trend cooler and stop trending NW! We can't let them steal our potentially historic event.

shaggy
Hey man, haven't seen you on here in a while. How did the hunting go this year out that way? Between me, downeastnc, his son and my dad we bagged 9 deer. I got my biggest buck ever(along with a black eye from the scope) and 2 coyotes. Had a blast all season. Can't remember if you hunt or not but if you do maybe we can work a trip for you in sometime next season.
Cold Rain
I'll be in church from about 9:30 to 12:15 and will be offline during that time. So when I get back on, if the page count has increased by more than 7 from what it is at 9:30, I'll know things look good. Less than 3 would indicate unfavorable trends. packfan98
Great disco last night! When was the last time we had so many mets breaking down the nam and gfs? Love it!!
mackerel_sky
It will be good to just have a snow or no snow scenario and not have to worry about temps for a change! I would be tickled with a fluffy inch! Usually temps are half to three quarters of the worry, this time it's just if the precip can make it here. Hvward
Great disco last night! When was the last time we had so many mets breaking down the nam and gfs? Love it!! Agreed! And the fact that we are always warmer than the surrounding areas. February when we changed over to snow, surrounding areas already had accumulating snow and Baxley GA had 5 inches and the precipitation was ending.
