Woah, woah. What am I missing here? Now we have both DT and WX Jordan predicting 1-2 inches for the triad based on the latest model guidance? I am seeing a stray flurry from the early afternoon runs and havent seen anything to the contrary (on my mobile) since. Where is this coming from?

Most of the modeling shows somewhere in the range of 0.1-0.15" QPF for GSO, so I don't think it's far-fetched, although I'm not sure if I would have went that high, personally.  But I'm not a met.  I wouldn't be surprised if we got nothing, though.

No. There's apparently no scenario where this garbage system can trend that will deliver snow to central NC.

Yeah, seriously. It went from west of us to east of us to north of us and now south of us. We've covered the four compass points. Maybe that means the 06z runs will show it over us and that'll be what pans out. In all likelihood, we'll get a dying band passing through that snows for about 30 minutes, enough to whiten the mulch around the trees.

The moon looked awesome tonight. Big and orange. Hoping we get some snow tomorrow. I am going to be looking out the window behind me all day at work tomorrow.

It's gonna be so bad tomorrow, you should stay home, roads will become treacherous from all those sprinkles :)

How do you post a YouTube video spelling weekly like weakly? Then you are in the NWS.

As someone who does a lot of posting in public spaces to large groups of people it's a lot easier than you think. I can't tell you how many times I was in a hurry and had to post something. I triple checked it only to have a silly grammatical error in it.

I understand it's Tuesday and all, but you all are extremely quiet. The other forums are booming.

There's probably a good reason for that.  They're actually expecting, you know, snow.  We're expecting to stare at clouds and imagine snowflakes.  Some of us may not even get clouds.

One nice thing about watching a winter storm hitting areas on the fringe of our area is I get to refresh my ignore list... looks like at least one more is going on it today. "Sleet, really? I'm tired of this", "Only light snow, I can't wait for this storm to be over."

boooo freaking who I'd kill for sleet or light snow at this point.
