32.3 here, fog and light drizzle.  Snow pack has held and is still powdery below the glaze.  Around a solid 5 inch pack here.  Doubt we lose much  before the arctic crash. Not too much icing here as we held just above 32 to the high of 34 just after lunch, and hovered a hair above 32 most of the day.  At least it was just warm enough to avoid icing here.

Nice pic! That's the same weather station I use, but currently on the warmer side of things at 38 degrees.

The high dewpoint snow-eater always feared in NE....

Yeah, it's no match for mid-30s dews. The bottom layer is holding a bit longer than the top but outside the east/north facing spots less than 50% cover and soon much less.

 

Oh well, the dog is happier. He doesn't seem to like snow for some reason.  And I saw some deer across the street.

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 6 am EST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has

issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 6 am EST

Monday.

* Visibilities... one-quarter mile or less.

* Impacts... areas of dense fog will cause sudden reductions in

visibility and rapidly changing conditions.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...

use your low-beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead

of you.
