A-L-E-K
Someone in the Geos/tuanis area is going to top out in the 20-25" range. I was thinking a little south of there, like ILSNOW/Wheeling/Lincolnshire...maybe even Highland Park. NOt quite as much yesterday but they should do better today. A-L-E-K
Impressive. LOT radar is a thing of beauty right now. much more impressive than I had expected. Not a single thin monster (yet) but large coverage for a good chunk of the metro. 25dbz rip city.

Not a single thin monster (yet) but large coverage for a good chunk of the metro. 25dbz rip city. I can't remember too many times it has pushed so far inland. And yeah, rather broad coverage. Very very nice.

Probably 9-10 on the ground and catching up. Easily 12"+ to my north.
Harry
close to 2.5 in the last hour...pounding Been watching and wondering whats going on there. That is awesome. I can't remember too many times it has pushed so far inland. And yeah, rather broad coverage. Very very nice. Usually we don't have a flow that goes all the way back to Huron which i think is playing into this. It is pretty wild. For me this is now one of my favorite non warned events. Chicago WX
9z RAP brought the LES all the way down to CMI. Normally I'd scoff at the notion, but this one seems a little different.

nwohweather
I do not know if I have ever seen such a powdery snow. Honestly I just could have used a push broom on the driveway if it wasn't so high. Have to have about 10" of a storm total now, main roads according to ODOT cams are absolutely horrible, I'm not quite sure why there are only level 1's right now
A-L-E-K
Agree...I'm thinking noon-ish. LOT mentions a meso low over the southern lake might help slow the eastward progress of the band, something to watch I guess but experience tells me they move east a little quicker than modeled. Point back up to 3-7"
