I have 1.5" on you but same deal

the last hour has featured the most productive/consistent snowfall rates of the event...winds also died down a bit...next measurement at 5:30 should have an increase from the 3.5 at 4:30 ....

5 inches for you ain't too bad....hope you get plumed tonight/tomorrow with some whiteout-ness

Too bad the MKE TDWR site is down...Would have been put to good use into tomorrow.

Doh!

11.3" as of 5:15pm.

~0.8"/hour gain again. I suspect Delta Ts are on the rise now. Seeing better dendrite structure.

Same story south of Detroit. Dec 14th they called for 3-5" the day before, 4-6" as the storm started, and we ended up with 6-10" downriver to Monroe. Same story here...they called for total snowfall from last night through Thursday morning of 4-6". Well...4-5" has fallen with about 18-20 more hours of snow to go.

Yeah last second bumps north FTW. Happened with Dec. 14th and to a certain extent happened again today.

Also... RAP through 15z tomorrow  :snowing:

Have a feeling the ORD total coming up shortly is going to be low...

Only 0.7" as of noon, off of 0.09" liquid.

The Elk Grove CoCoRaHS observers RC mentioned last night have recently reported 7.0" and 7.3".

8.3" at Morton Grove, 6.7" at St. Charles and 6.0" at Lombard

If ORD doesn't have 6-7" there's an issue.

tuanis is probably a good candidate around 11 and change

Add another 1.4" over the past 3 hours (since my last report at 3:30 PM), brings the running total to 12.7". And it just won't give up - I keep thinking it's finally winding down and it picks back up: http://ustre.am/16Txc

Snow is now filling nearly half the screen of my elevated cam view - let's see how high we can get this shiz to add up.
