Chicago WX
talk about a nightmare for KIND and KILX IND was talking 2-4" in their AFD from earlier today. Probably still stands, and is a good call at the moment.
tuanis
The new back-built bands of snow have developed into some pretty intense bands. Yup, dumpage. Gotta be over 5" by now: http://ustre.am/16Txc Where's Alek?

Chicago WX
ILX might have to nudge it up a bit they were going with 1-3" Yeah, certainly possible. 0z GGEM concurs with the others. Now watch the 0z Euro come in with a dusting for us.
Hoosier
Really starting to think we have a shot at pulling 5 or 6 inches out of this. 00z model qpf is roughly .35 to .45 for LAF and I think an event average around 15:1 is fair (maybe a bit lower near the beginning and higher toward the end as the DGZ depth improves). Part of me is a little hesitant but kinda hard to deny the trends. If the 00z Euro is dry I might throw my computer out the window..
Geos
I'm getting close to 5" here. Still another hour left I would say.

ilstormchaser
Was thinking 2.5-3 earlier for me but based on tonights runs anywhere from 3-5 looks reasonable and am expecting ilx to issue a snow advisory

There's some additional returns popping up southeast of Dubuque. That should expand and head your way too, but don't think that will develop into as intense of bands as what we're seeing now as the RR quad of the mid-level jet is beginning to push off to the east. Should still keep steady light snowfall going for awhile after the better bands move east.

Ottawa Blizzard
The 0z Canadian looks like it gives Toronto about 2". Given I'd written this event off completely, I'm happy with that. I'm also looking to see how low I can get January's mean temperature, so I'm happy with the bitter cold on Thursday and Friday as well.
