Lol it is stuff like this that makes what actually happened appear as if we busted. Not so. All the negative nelly's will try to come out of the woodwork and claim bust lol. NWS forecast will verify if it hasn't already which it has for me just 15 minutes due north of you (less as the crow flies obviously). I can confirm 15:1 ratios just as forecasted too. 6-7 inches already easily and it will be higher when all is said and done. My office in Jersey City has closed.

my side of the street is covered with a foot and the other half with 6-7" its insane. my driveway and backyard have drifts of up to 3 feet. drifts ftw. We had about 3" at around 9-10PM, we've had about 1" per hour rates between 12-5AM. That should put us around 6-8" just like NWS forecasted.

Fell asleep for a couple of hours.  Last reading was 5" at 2 am and as of 5:30 am we have an estimated 6.5", which is the average of about a dozen measurements in my backyard (range was 5.5 to 7.25").  Still snowing close to moderately, but probably not for much longer.  Hoping to eke out another 1/2" to get to 7".  A very nice storm, although we did miss out on some of the heaviest bands.  It's is stunningly gorgeous out there and a little bit nippy, although temps went up a degree or two - now at 14F.

Sounds about the same over here in Colonia; I measured around5.5 -6 but couldn't really get around the yard much in these brutal temps; there are some deeper drifts. Got the day off along with the kids, but honestly to cold to go out.

going to finish up with around 9.5" here. We never were able to get that fluff factor needed for the 15 or 20-1 ratios that were possible. When the good dentrites were falling they were ripped apart by the wind plus much of the time smaller dentrites and plates were falling which led to a more dense accumulation. All in all a great job by the models the last couple of days and an equally nice job by Upton and the local forecasters. This storm while not a HECS does have some historical value with snow falling with temps in the low teens.
