Manny
Last Obs of the night. Moderate Snow and wind driven. 10.8F 7.5" Northern Manhattan. That Central Park measurement. haha
beez
9 inches eastern Monmouth county. So much drifting there are spots with a foot and spots with 6 inches so I could be off by an inch or two. But that's the best i could come up with using the ruler in the front yard approach. sounds right. my cousin is only a stones throw from you and also came up with 9". hope you enjoyed it. sounds like it was a fun beautiful snowfall

weatherpruf
It is way to cold for me out there, but some idiot decided to take it upon himself and try to plow the street and he woke me and the dog, up. Once the dog was up and barking the whole household was up Gotta say, from the looks of it this was one weird storm; blowing snow but not a heck of a lot of accumulation my way; looks to be around 5, but someone nearby measured more in Fords. There some serious drifts so who knows. Still, we've had several storms to track this winter already. It is still snowing steady out but not the heavier stuff from earlier. Rjay
One of the lowest vis I have seen here Earlier was the same for me. Weird considering I'm sure we have all seen heavier snow and stronger winds. I think its also quite foggy and the snow is so powdery that is blowing everywhere. Winds have calmed down a little for me right now so visibility has improve from 100 yards earlier to probably between 1/4 and 1/2 mile
LongBeachSurfFreak
96ish here right now
weatherpruf
Measured between 5.5-6 in Woodbridge just now. Still snowing but overall, a nice little event but for us here, other than the cold, nothing earth shattering. The original calls for 4-8 seem right for around here. Don't see us getting to 8 unless more bands are headed this way. Don't really wanna be out there cleaning more in these temps anyway.
viking70
5 inches 5 degrees. Winds blowing snow the light snow around. Light snow right now.
