viking70
4.8 degrees. Dumping snow. Winds swirling. Chili cooking. 5 inches I think. Hard to say with winds. May not be the highest amounts of snow ever but an amazing storm due to temps and winds!

jm1220
Awesome conditions outside, feel bad for the people who dropped off and went to bed. Guessing 7-8"? 10" might be a stretch, need the snow to hang on as long as possible. Looks like another pickup in intensity is coming in from the city. tmagan
Very interesting that it's 10 and cloudy in Monticello ny at 1,200 feet or so and 11 and snowing here in Brooklyn. Shows you how dense this Arctic air is.
Big Jims Videos
9 inches eastern Monmouth county. So much drifting there are spots with a foot and spots with 6 inches so I could be off by an inch or two. But that's the best i could come up with using the ruler in the front yard approach. simpsonsbuff
That is among the worst measurement they have ever made... and they've made some bad ones... Central Park 5 with 0.53 LE for the day. What a joke
IntenseBlizzard2014
That is among the worst measurement they have ever made... and they've made some bad ones... There has to be at least 7" of snow there.
StatenWx
That is among the worst measurement they have ever made... and they've made some bad ones... Seems like they didn't even measure and just used 10-1 from the melted snow.
odwalla
The Park should be about 8" -- would guess 6-7" in the FiDi, which would be lower than their measurements.
SRRTA22
The wind is blowing all the snow around so I'm willing to bet that alot of these totals are wrong. I think it's best to see how much liquid actually fell and factor in the ratios and you'll get the real total.
