NorthShoreWx
Ok, so I turned out all the lights and went to bed. Then I got back up. The wind rattling the windows was more than I could take. It is down to 13 here (actually 12 and change) and snowing hard. The blizzard thing might work out yet as the wind is howling and the air has that foggy blizzard look with very low viz. We only had 3" as of midnight, but the tracks that I made as of about 12:30 were obliterated in less than an hour. Wouldn't surprise me if we've been collecting an inch an hour since...but not going to measure. I will try to stay in bed this time.
Big Jims Videos
Crazy snow outside right now in wall combined with the wind, and yeah the arctic air reached here. I got readings in the front yard from 6 (less than I measured at 1am) to 8. So I think were are around 7ish. And DUMPINGz

RU848789
Heaviest snow of the night - looking at the radar, we're under a stripe of 25-30 DBZ within the larger band of 20-25 DBZ snow. It's simply pouring snow right now with visibility of about 3/16 of a mile. Wow.
jm1220
It's really hard to measure here-I might have 4", might have 6". The winds are kicking up more and more and causing more drifting. Such an awesome scene.

jm1220
The falling snow is getting heavier by the minute here-hopefully this is the inverted trough and this lingers for a few hours. Short range models have suggested this the last several runs-if so we're in for some fun.

The cold did overperform north of us and it's headed our way.
