aldie 22 Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Unless anyone in here complaining about how soft today's kids are fought in WWI or II I'm thinking we all need to stfu about how hard our generation was...hardest thing about my youth was I had to get my lazy butt up off of the couch to change the channel on the tv...thank god there were only 4 to choose from and one of them only came in on clear days. Yeah...we are the hard generation....lol I'm with you on this. I creatively put my life at risk in the backyard for years and I have taught my kids to do the same. Outside of electronic entertainment and communication I see little difference up and down my street. Same games and mischief and plenty of walking and biking to get to the next batch of trouble. Luckily I didn't get lockjaw because the other 'kids' convinced me it would be ok after they pulled it out. I just think they didn't want the game to end.
