The temperature for the Green Bay / San Francisco game Sunday night is expected to be around 7 at kickoff and fall below zero during the game.

Hence the reason they still have 11,000 seats for the game and they need to sell them by tomorrow or there will be a blackout in Green Bay. That would be a shocker.

On the flip side we can't be sure about closing schools even at 4 am with a massive superband encroaching from the SW

It's what makes us special.

We're due for a reverse bust though. This is the kind of setup that can do it. If I see lightening shortly after dark tomorrow I don't even need to look at radar anymore.

First day back to work in over a week, yeahhh, should be a blast!

Me too. I kinda got used to hanging with the family every day. Sucks to have to go back.

Good thing is that I have a little vacation in a couple weeks...

I'm actually ready to go back. Sure hanging out with the fam is fun, but I'm a bit exhausted from it to be honest. K is a handful lol

I know where that is, I went to grade school at St.Charles on Sudbrook Ln. Definitely a convenient area to live in. I know a lot of Russians and Orthodox from my days hanging in Benny's poolroom ( Gentlemen's Cue ) located just a couple blocks south of the intersection of Slade Ave. and Reisterstown Rd. Oh, I forgot this isn't the banter thread. It's down to 33 here now.

I've never discovered Benny's but it sounds like a cool place, although an internet search says you have to be a member.  Maybe I'll take a walk down that way this weekend and check it out.

As a teen, my pool hall of choice was in Hampton Mall in Capital Heights, but it's been awhile since I've played.  Not to mention that your handle suggests it might be out of my league.

I'm feeling really, really, inexplicably good that we will break our 2" drought by Friday.

Like the optimism but this set up looks lousy. Low coming up the apps right over us with no cold air in place means 2" is about as likely as 2'....but I hope to be wrong

Recent model trends plus random good feelings hope that your feelings are wrong.

Hope so too. I 'm just being a downer because I have to go back work. I was getting used to eating salty snacks, drinking all day and waiting for model runs to come out. Tomorrow will be ugly at best.

I can see how you might feel that way. That's one reason why I'm so impressed with how my wife does it day after day. Watching a toddler all day, five days a week, can be exhausting!

33 pages for a possible 2 inch event. Wow.

It's a complicated storm with a lot to discuss. Not some moisture starved clipper that's simple. The page count is more a factor of trying to solve a pretty tough and cool riddle. We all know we suck at snow but we have fun with it anyway. At least my sick and demented azz does.

I give her credit for being able to do so. I'm sure if I had decided to be a stay at home mom from day 1, it would be drastically different. But not going to daycare, not having that set schedule as she has had for months, really messed with her. Not sleeping well, cranky, on top of having a head cold and teething. It's been a rough few days around here.

Teething, sick, and not sleeping...we know the pain.

I agree. This has been a fun storm. My opinion will probably be different about this time tomorrow.

Yeah, she had a fever the last two days. Thankfully not today. But she was feeling so good she didn't want to nap, so needless to say she got overtired and cried quite a bit when it was time for bed. While I'm not looking forward to being up at 5 tomorrow, getting her back on the normal routine will do her some good.

The radar hallucinations and dryslot suicides are still going to be brutal tomorrow.  NAM sim radar shows the snow coming in from W-->E, so maybe that will help instead of waiting it to fill in overhead.

And the reports of rain at DC with snow everywhere else...
