Here is what I am looking for. i know its outrageous but here we go.

1) temps when the storm starts are below freezing. Mid 20's would be nice

2) not having to worry about radar after the first hour of the storm

3) Not to have to wait 2 hours before the snow starts sticking

4) Real Heavy snow. Not my definition of Heavy snow

5) Some wind would be nice

6) snow that takes more than 5 minutes to shovel.

7) the hill that stays white after my kid goes down the hill the first time

8) 8-12 inches

9) DCA to break 3 inches

I don't get what the prob is. We just had a decent event and cold like we haven't seen in years. Next week was going to torch and now there's a potential sneak up and a subsequent pattern that doesn't make snow impossible.

Agree, I am happy with this winter so far. 8.50 inches of snow so far this year. One was a 6 inch snowfall that I wasn't expecting. Icing this morning that over performed. And a couple cold days.

I'm with you.  Best winter since 09-10 so far.  I've got 12" of snow to date and have had several days with lows in the single digits.  Pretty solid IMO.  Cheers to our half-full glasses.
