18z GFS deterministic has DCA at 6 at 10pm. MOS wins again.

Good to know. I stopped keeping track a while back. ;)

 

I think MOS blend is still usually the best guide though maybe in a case like this a blend of MOS and raw is best. A lot of work...

Will you be taking a jeb walk in the late night/early morning hours? I want to experience wc below -20...

I was out for about 15 minutes a little earlier in an exposed location. At 5 minutes my face started to feel frozen. After 10, it started to sting. The cool thing was after 5 minutes back in the house my coat was still radiating cold.

Really invigorating feeling though. I encourage everyone to go outside.

There is nothing better than a good long jebwalk in very cold weather, except a jebwalk taken outside in extremely heavy snow in northeasterly winds gusting to 35 mph with huge snowflakes blowing past the streetlights.

 

Dewpoint is -7, just like last early February. Temperature is down to 12 degrees.
