RUNNAWAYICEBERG
yea, Shelton...this little valley, up and down rte 8 tends to do pretty well with low level cold.
Brian5671
I'm busting on Kevin. This really isn't much of a torch to be honest, but it will take a bit to fall below 32 tomorrow. We've stayed low all day today-that helps that we've used up 12 hrs of the torch close to freezing. I'm up to 36, but it's been 32 or lower most of the day here. glaze may help mitigate the damage too

Logan11
I have been in Saugerties all day painting at the rental place. It's a skating rink around this Hudson Valley area. It was 31 when I left there 45 minutes ago and now in Catskill, NY where everything is also glazed over. Up ti 25.8/24 at kpit.
Logan11
What a hell hole that place is ...for winter wx lovers. LOL Snow shadowed to the extreme and can't hold low level cold worth a darn. moneypitmike
Hasn't really be doing anything--so I thought. Just took a step outside, and it's a sheet of ice. Must be a fine drizzle, or we had a shower come thru that I missed. Either way, it's a good think the road's snow covered. I'm sure ice on pavement would be worse should anyone drive by here. 25.5/

wxeyeNH
27.7F freezing rain and drizzle. Walk and driveway is a sheet of ice. Having the surface so cold from the past few days really seems to have made a difference for how fast everything iced up on the surface.

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Is the flash freeze still possible tomorrow night? Looks like some places down here might be able to dry out beforehand but i would guess water from the melted snowpack will insta freeze.
