DDweatherman
Euro looks more amped and better at h5, but its dry for everyone with a low off Cape Cod. It literally makes tip's CFE thoughts look correct.

Bob Chill
Euro sucks for the entire east coast unless you live in the Catskills or tip of cape cod. The dc precip hole will bring a grown man to its knees. Happy new year!
lsukev
The Euro is a little drier. Less than 0.1" QPF around NoVa except for a few areas. Maryland around 0.1" area wide.

DDweatherman
Euro had the area receiving 5-8" yesterday. The euro is an excellent model but I'm not going all-in on any of its solutions atm. H5 looked improved as Winterwxluvr stated, and It makes one wonder. I'll have some input in the morning.

Better west steel boots or just bring a bag of bacon. On the analysis side the euro looks ok at the upper levels. Something isn't lining up. Or I'm too hammed up to see the height contours clearly. winterymix
What a rug puller to the north though. This is the worst run overall by a mile. The 500 mb EURO has super vorticity over Maryland at 72 hrs or so, much strongerthan GFS, suggesting we get dry slotted hard and Cape Cod gets clobbered.
