josh_4184
LOL @ This I know its not specific to the GL region, but............ "Yes Florida is being impacted by the COLD OUTBREAK MT @CCDmomof3 School cancelled tomorrow here in Lake City FL due to below freezing temps!" Closing school in Florida for below freezing temps, just checked their forecast, a low of 18 and high of 41 tomorrow, just terrible down there. mjwise
Yeah I'm starting to see the school closings in WI for tomorrow. Ryan - I noticed the roads were bumpier than normal this morning too. Your tires are also like driving with round rocks at these temperatures, so that's not helping things either.

Chinook
From LOT... I'm sure the LOT forecasters posted accurate information, but it is also below normal (below -40 degrees) for some of Siberia today. http://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/gfs/2014010612/gfs_T2ma_nhem_2.png
snowlord81
so much ice crystal in the air it almost looks like fog Same here. The winds still howling and we keep having brief whiteouts. Add in the fact its -12 with a wind chill of -41 its easily the most brutal winter weather I've ever expirenced. Its like the artic tundra outside my garage. Im enjoying this cause it could be a long time before expirence something like this again.
