You're right at 4. Could go either way. I could see the Lehigh valley split between the two groups based on location. Our graphics don't have a 3-5. Though I could have done that in the AFD etc. You're were grouped in with areas further south on the HWO.

Gotcha. And the Lehigh Valley always seems to be in between a lot of events.

Could a met explain the whole debacle going on in different weather forums with the whole "500mb looks amazing for a storm but surface doesn't translate one bit"Just trying to understand why the surface looks as bad as it does.

That front end low taking over really hurts.

Unbelievable...

The rest probably all knew it would not be a storm of any significance after this run.

Probably because:

A)People are out

B)It's not really a big deal for PHL area.

It's not a big deal for the DC area either, but people are at least talking about it.

they get what they voted for.  they like things quiet here.

OKX brought up the aspect of mesoscale banding, which if the NAM is right...I could certainly see this pan out.  Where one area in NNJ has 5 inches on the ground from a thin mesoscale band...and 30 miles south = nothing.  (could be one of those storms)
