weathafella
Yeah let's lock this one but I'm skeptical of a slow moving system like this. Linger lift and snow into Friday dropping 6-12 for many,..lol.

CoastalWx
30 hr event...lol. I doubt it's that slow.
Tropopause_Fold
verbatim probably taint for a while along extreme s shore / cape / s coast but overall that's a nice evolution. if only the GFS could be trusted.
jamesnichols1989
30 hr event...lol. I doubt it's that slow. GFS develops a pseudo block in place, with a Greenland ridge, even though the heights are near 522dm. Still enough to lock the PV in place and actually allows it split up by hour 132. Baroclinic Zone
still ugly look but not far off from something more substantial, verbatim
Damage In Tolland
30 hr event...lol. I doubt it's that slow. Yeah with no blocking it prob won't be.. Proba 15-20 hour type deal with the overrunning starting first

Tropopause_Fold
And look where the PV is lol...it's actually deeper and further S and W by 12z thursday on this run...so...no.
CoastalWx
It's all about the energy diving SE..looks a little more like the euro now.
CT Rain
lol...it's actually deeper and further S and W by 12z thursday on this run...so...no. lol yeah - that logic is not working. But a great evolution - I'll take it! Something to be cautiously optimistic about moving forward.
Tropopause_Fold
that would be pretty sweet with the weak surface trough kind of hanging back and prolonging snows from BOS to the Cape all day friday...probably some ocean enhancement there too with that arctic air pouring in. jamesnichols1989
West yes but not south No southwest and stronger this run, not where you say it is, its not moving all that fast out of the region.
Tropopause_Fold
West yes but not south as scooter mentioned, it's about the energy coming down the plains and into the trough. the PV did not lift out and allow that to come to north. it looks the same as the past 2 GFS runs, overall. think it's moving toward euro...maybe euro comes back some. just my take though. Has the potential to be a larger circulation so a SE tick would still be fine....and better for you obviously.
