Most people (62%) in Connecticut live in the southern half, the NYC zones option. 50% (1.8 million) of the state lives in SW CT (Fairfield + New Haven counties). BDR by itself has about the same population as all of Tolland county. Bridgeport, Stamford, Hartford, and New Haven are all cities with more people than all of Windham county (118k). Over 1 million or 28% live in the I-95 corridor.

For what? old, run down, abandoned textile mills

You need to get out and drive around more.  How about over 100,000 acres of forest, more farms than any other county in the state (I believe) and the last green area between Washington and Boston.  Besides national scenic byways, it borders eastern Tolland County which is also relatively sparsely populated which is home to places like Union.  :D

My territory when I was at ADP was Windham Cty and other areas. My current role has me all over the area. Like I said , I know the area very well. Better than you to be sure.
