dryslot
Funny thing is I just got 4.6" on 0.15" liquid, and this "storm" will probably give half that snow on twice as much liquid, lol. Ratios..ftl

wxeyeNH
Terrible forecasting from Grey Maine this PM. Have decided not to issue any type of advisory, watch or warning for Grafton County NH. WSW are up in adjacent VT and Maine. My point and click says rain possibly mixed with snow with under 1" on accum. That is not going to happen up here. Graphical map has me in the 6-8" band. I can't understand what they are doing, every model is showing substantial accum up here in the highlands.

moneypitmike
Yeah i had in the interior and changed it, I could go either way i guess, My weather is influenced by the atlantic in many case though.... Don't sell the Pacific and gulf stream short, Jeff. By the way, 15z srefs bumped qpf up over 1" from a line of IZG-LEW-WVL-BGR reading tea leaves and I say, oh good--maybe it's shifted a little to the right...... MarkO
NAM coming in a little cooler. Looks like I might finish as snow here in Lowell, maybe a couple inches? But I'll be north where it will be all snow. Maybe 6-8 in Thornton?
moneypitmike
Quite the reduction as you head to the immediate coast (from the mid-coast WWA): ACCUMULATIONS...VARYING FROM AROUND AN INCH NEAR THE COAST TO AS MUCH AS 8 INCHES FURTHER INLAND. RAIN WILL BE MORE COMMON ON THE COASTAL SIDE OF ROUTE 1.

N. OF PIKE
Man that is close for Chris m at 1k in nw ct. This nam run looks like it crushes MPM over to BIrving over to Rochester,nh to maine away from immediate. Coast. Colder for sure on nam. Hubbdave is close on this run to 4-6 just guessing. More change over i think after 9-10. The nam should get the elevated interior folk posting again.

I wouldn't rule rain out yet, but you definitely have the advantage via elevation. With that said, I can't find a model that doesn't give me all snow right now so I'm leaning more white over wet. This will be a pukey antecedent airmass though so hopefully the lower els don't have to deal with 35F glop to start.

Typhoon Tip
18z NAM is the coldest run yet... 36070976317 -9214 013117 44010199 Those numbers pertain to the 980, 900 and 800mb level temperatures, respectively, and that is +1, +1, -1C Logan... Note the .70" QPF slug... That is going to flip to parachutes even at the coast if those numbers verify, and a significant warnable event for ORH-FIT is probably a good bet...
