powderfreak
GGEM starting to cave SE this run. Better for places like Monads to end as some snow. Yeah it's definitely more in line with the GFS/NAM now...dropped the warning snows to advisory snows here.
dryslot
Yeah it's definitely more in line with the GFS/NAM now...dropped the warning snows to advisory snows here. ineedsnow
my grandfathers brother just got his back last night had alot of damage in the Eastern townships of Quebec.. My grandfather is higher up and ended up with more rain there since he is higher up and the warm air was not able to make it there That would be a worse case scenario, There are still folks without power up here
wx2fish
Euro ftw Looks colder than the gfs. It has a warm layer at 925 down here, without a sounding its tough to tell how deep that layer is. But 850 certainty crashes south in a hurry.

dendrite
Not good.Heh. Not an epic run up here...it's in and out of here pretty fast, but it appears to be all snow up here. Maybe 4-6"?
ORH_wxman
Euro is the same ambiguous junk we've seen from several other models today...maybe some snow at the end for places like N ORH hills/GC while dendrite gets 3-5 inches of glop. Maybe 4-6"? 3-5" is prob more like it here anyways, Looks like .5" qpf or so, But i don't have the hard numbers
moneypitmike
Yeah it's definitely more in line with the GFS/NAM now...dropped the warning snows to advisory snows here. I didn't realize the GFS and NAM were in line...... I'm not sure what the EC is saying for out here, but perhaps 2-5. Better than yesterday's event and then followed by cooler air to keep it in place. Edit: Per Will's post, I'll take the under on that. 29.5/
wxmanmitch
What do you think about the s berks? I dont know climo there. Do they match the monads or orh hills? Depends on where you are going to be. Southern Berks down by Sheffield or Gt Barrington are not as good, but 2K is like as good or better than Monads and ORH Hills. Clinch Leatherwood
You guys are all ignoring the fact that the tracks have been very similar and the net result near the coast is also similar. There is no blocking and this has been a problem for a month. We are constantly walking the tight rope. For a part of last week and now this week the CP has been "torched"during events. I guess I missed the part where the snowcover hasn't vanished. Should be an interesting January. Meanwhile I will enjoy the snowstorm here Sunday. CoastalWx
This storm will track farther offshore than the ones that gave me snow. It's a srn stream system that got mixed up with the timing. Instead of a downslope dandy with sun, this comes instead. I know what you mean, but it's not a good comparison.

The sensible wx in plymouth might have been similar, but that doesn't mean a broadbrush blanket qualifier should be applied to the region as a whole.
