The low is in a perfect spot for me, but it just ain't cold enough...lol

Give it time. I think tomorrow's runs will come around to a solution more to your liking.  Crazy that we're dealing with bl temp issues when we've got pretty deep cold on both sides of the storm. Timing is everything.  You'll get accumulating snow I think.

I think so... a few inches (thinking 2-4") towards the end, but we will see. Has some nice potential

it's coming Jerry, but you've known that.  2.5 today, 6 otg, solid snowpack, winter getting deeper.  I turn 50 on Sunday.  Eagles win the division same day?  Past bomb at the party site in the Berks?  Life is good.  Nighty nite.

I hate the eagles but like you. Therefore, good luck! 50 is the start of something....lol well I'm not sure what but enjoy!

It might give you an inch or two at the end. But best chance for advisory snows in SNE is probably N of pike from Rays area to ORH county to S NH and Berks.

00z run last night had a bit more intense precip core which probably helped dynamically cool...this precip shield is a bit more expansive but less punch toward the middle....but we are really splitting hairs here....the two runs were pretty similar.

Hey if I can get 1-3 at the tail end while you guys up north get 6-10..I'd still consider that a W

Take any chance to grab that extra inch.

Yeah there is a lack a skiing opportunities up there. As far as snowmobiling its heaven from there to Rangley to Jackman. Hundreds of miles of groomed trails. I go up there to fish in the summer too, it is an awesome area. Id love to have a vacation house up there, not necessarily live up there year round.

There are big gradients up there too. The area around the town of Pittsburg gets considerably less upslope than up near the First CT lake, likewise theres generally 2x the snowpack up on the ridges ENE of the lake.

Very true. It's really a shame we're losing our observers up in that area (including First Connecticut).

The long term average at that Coop site was 155", with the johnsnhweather.com guy living a few miles north and at 175". Head towards the Whites around Diamond Pond and you're talking 230". Think about that, the difference form First Connecticut Lake to Diamond Pond is like the seasonal average for BOS.

The GFS and NAM both look like nice half foot blue bombs here. My fear always has to be a right hook leaving me fringed. But so far so good....  And uncharacteristically the GFS has a nice low modeled at day 7-8 which I have no doubt it will lose soon and take out to sea for about three days or runs.

I'm planning on snow here Sunday...

My uncle lives in Andover tucked right up against the east side of Ragged Mtn and they hold snow extremely well. New London is a nice weenie spot too. I think most of the town is over 1200'.

I ski Sunapee all the time and have noticed how poorly we do on the forecast for that part of NH. They always seem to hang onto SHSN longer than we think. A lot of it has to do with the radar beam overshooting the precip, but it happens quite often.

GFS has 14" of snow for PWM or the NAM has 0.85" rain. Should be a fun forecast tonight.
