so close on the euro...far NW burbs get annihilated

yeah, we're kind of in a drier area overall for some reason. probably not worth parsing..

classic bringing us back into the game around day 3-4... will tonight or tomorrow take it away?

I think your take is the smart one, though verbatim, we all probably flip quickly after about 91 hours...of course this is fun, but silly to parse...yet we still do it ;)

yeah, agreed on the flip which is where i was getting about .5" as verbatim we get ~.6" after 90. but we are also basically surrounded by more.. tho i doubt we go from rain to accumulation instantly either at least for us.  and it's probably wrong. but anyway...

I noticed last night that the 00Z operational EC had trended south with the southern stream trough from the 12Z run, while the 06Z GFS did the same from it's previous run. Not quite to the degree of the UK, but it was hard to ignore the trend...

That being said, let's hope we're getting close enough to where the trend doesn't keep going, or else the southern stream vort and pcpn axis ends up going to our south. We've seen that before, especially with Miller Bs, where the northern stream confluence zone keeps digging south.
