moneypitmike
lol at waking up to 71F at DCA. That is really remarkable--cold comfort (no pun intended) for us torching up here. Up to 44.5/44 with dense fog. Not sure why I've been getting winds from the WNW since 5:00a.m. here. Odd.

You'll be white afterall. Is your neighborhood gone and just a weenie patch at your house? That's what I am seeing here. Those don't count for snowpack. Brian5671
Still some patchy cover here, but it will be gone by day's end. I think some has held on due to the ice we got in the middle storm. 55 right now

mattb65
There was still 2-5" of cover IMBY when I left yesterday at around 2 pm. I was impressed that Boston metro had better cover than many areas out to the west. Probably because of that thick layer of ice at the base when we had the flash freeze storm. Very few piles left down in N NJ where I am for xmas.

weathafella
You don't care about snowcover so of course you're not bothered Even if I cared, life has many far worse days than losing a snow cover. But you were tongue in cheek. Sorry, enduring other personal tragedies is far worse than my snow melting or even a storm farting in progress.
