Ottawa Blizzard
Much of the ladies on TWN aren't qualified meteorologists unlike Chris Scott who is. He always has informative information prior to a storm and I respect his forecasts. Too bad he isnt on TV anymore. Chris St. Clair is also good. He published a pretty good book about Canadian weather a few years ago.
Thundersnow12
4k NAM going 4+ inches of snow at DPA through 12z Sunday per the various snow ratio methods in Bufkit, and the warm nose is gone overnight. Impressive

SchaumburgStormer
Seemed like LOT was extremely bullish/unrealistic to start, so a trim down doesn't surprise me. Let's see what the next suite comes through with.

Ottawa Blizzard
Agreed. He's terrible. As far as I know, nobody on CTV is a qualified meteorologist, just "weather specialists". I could say the same for CP24 too, expect for Chris Potter. Harold Hosein is calling for 20-30 cm (10-12 inches) of snow in Toronto on Sunday. lol! Hoosier
IKK riding 32.4-32.5 hell with the 0z NAM. Yeesh, that's ugly stuff. Not sure it will happen in this case but I've noticed some times where model forecast soundings try to warm a few tenths above freezing but in reality it ends up being 32 longer than expected. That's kinda what went into my thinking earlier.

snowstormcanuck
NAM nudged, but it's still relatively warm at the surface for this round. Considering what the other models are depicting, and the fact that I think it's playing catchup, I've tossed it.
