Damage In Tolland
34 here, and Tolland 50? Does the drain continue here and maybe see a light glaze? The backdoor came thru here about 10 minutes ago.. Winds shifted from sw to NE as I ran the last mile home
mahk_webstah
Those are some strong echoes on radar that seem to be heading straight into New England over the next several hours. Will that hit the cold air or will we start to warm and get plain rain?

powderfreak
Not too often the West Chesterfield lair is 20F warmer than BOS. That rain looks pretty robust...those below freezing may have some issues.

MainePhotog
Driving out the driveway this morning was an epic fail. Car slid off into our snow bank. Leave it where it sets until the spring thaw? Ice Storm Warning continues and looks like another 0.25" to 0.30" freezing rain on top of the 0.20" that's accumulated so far. Bullet proof snow pack FTW. 24.8°F

segv
The temp is marginally below freezing here: 30.9/30.4. Very light accretion on some surfaces, but mostly wet.
dendrite
Up to 30.3F now since the FZRA started...we're going to need to keep the supply of fresh CAA going or else we'll shoot up to 32F quickly due to the latent heating.

wxeyeNH
30.2F light freezing rain. I have an doctors appt in Boston at 1:30pm. Normally a 2 hour drive each way at 70mph. I would assume highways that are treated stay just wet at around 30F or else this round trip is going to be a long nightmare. Its taken awhile to get this appt. Should I drive down??? dendrite
31.0F...nice glazing. CON had 0.08" last hour with 0.05" accretion. I'm not sure how much accretion 0.08" should produce with 100% efficiency, but that seems solid. It's a little colder up here too.
