wxeyeNH
Still waiting to hit 40F. Ive been steady at 39.7F for awhile. Last time I hit 40F was Dec 6th. Thought we would get into the ice but seems we will be too far SW for anything serious but we'll see. Snowpack is compacting and will probably end with 4-6" of glacier. Perhaps some snow with that second wave up here??
powderfreak
Love that the BTV Mansfield Meso-net webpage is getting a lot of play on The Weather Channel, lol. They think BTV will be ground zero with possibly even over an inch of ice. TWC seemed very impressed by the northerly drain down the Champlain Valley and the fact that they have been in the 20s the past couple days while other areas have been warm and are relying on CAA for cooling. The funny thing is, BTV is the worst snow preservation area in general, but they may come out of this with the most robust, rock solid snowpack of anyone, lol. Their wind is N12 so still drilling cold air into that area.

These isn't much stopping the cold from oozing into the CPV. The rest of us are blocked by mountains and I have to rely on a wraparound from Maine. You just need a sneeze aimed toward the US from a Nordique. SPC WRF is damn cold tomorrow. It gets the freezing line down to about ORH with mid 20s here. That would be sweet.
