9Z SREFs finally catching on, but I can tell on the NCEP mean that there are still some warm members.

It's looking like 1/2 to 3/4 of the QPF will be rain before transitioning over to ZR unless the CAD overperforms in central Maine today (which is a possibility I suppose).

If the power goes out, I may have to make the trip up tomorrow. We can't afford that happening or basement crawl space floods and pipes burst (if extended outage).

I don't see that cold going anywhere Jeff. Any pressure rises to the north will send that cold southwest tonight.

I think i'm in for a prolonged icing event Scott, Was kind of hoping what had been modeled would take place as i would lose some of the icing potential to plain RN, That may not be the case, Just north of the border above Fort Kent its 10F

If that map verifies, then I luck out with something like 0.3" of ice and probably keep power. You, jzinckgra and tamarack get to enjoy rustic 1820-esque living conditions for a while.

Right at the north edge of the death-ice polygon - come on, sleet!

Currently about 21 with no precip, had a tiny bit of ZR overnight.

Details details. Should be interesting, at least. Depending on how this shakes out...We could have the region from somewhere around you points s and w with S winds gusting to like 35 knots and t/tds of 55/53...while Tippy is cloudy and 36F with calm wind

haha...check the obs around ORE and FIT and like MQE and BOS. well on our way.
